Breast Cancer Awareness

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There are several events and fundraisers in our community. We encourage you to participate.

• Friday, October 23 - "Rushing For A Cure", The Cheboygan football game with Ogemaw Heights has been cancelled due to illness. However, the special pink T-shirts are still available for $10, call (231) 597-8541. Proceeds go to Breast Cancer Awareness efforts through the CMH Radiology Department.
• Wednesday, October 28 - "Presque Isle Volleyball Showdown", Onaway High School. Fans from Posen, Rogers City and Onaway are encouraged to wear something pink to the contest. Proceeds help National Breast Cancer Awareness programs.
•  Thursday, October 29 - "Volley For A Cure", volleyball match featuring Pellston at Cheboygan (JV & Varsity). Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game at Cheboygan High School. Proceeds go to American Cancer Society.
