Relay for Life

Organizational efforts are underway for the 2009 Cheboygan County Relay for Life. This is a 24-hour event to raise money for cancer research, and raise awareness for cancer victims and their families. This year's event will take place at the Cheboygan Fairgrounds on East Lincoln Avenue, beginning 10am on Saturday, June 13, and running until 10am, Sunday June 14.
There is a kick-off dinner on Thursday, February 19, 5:30 pm at the Great Lakes Grill in Cheboygan. For more information, call this year's Relay chairperson, Katie Aldrich, (231) 627-6179.
